Non-fiction is my personal preference in reading. Due to lack of reading time, while working on PhD and having two jobs, I personally prefer reading actual/factual material which will provide an intellectual fulfillment. Fiction works, for me personally, provide mostly emotional fulfillment.
Personal favorite subjects are: history, anthropology, geography, politics, education and psychology.
According to WP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonfiction
Nonfiction or non-fiction is any document or content that purports in good faith to represent truth and accuracy regarding information, events, or people.[1] Nonfiction content may be presented either objectively or subjectively, and may sometimes take the form of a story. Nonfiction is one of the fundamental divisions of narrative (specifically, prose) writing— in contrast to fiction, which offers information, events, or characters expected to be partly or largely imaginary, or else leaves open if and how the work refers to reality.
Non-fiction works are deeply fascinating and more preferable for me due to actual research research and conclusions on topic versus imaginary work.
